12 Week Old Male Puppy - Available

We currently have a 12 week old male puppy from the Maggie X Presto litter that was born October 16, 2024.  Mr. Red will need some additional love and care during his lifetime.   Mr. Red is visually challenged - He is affected by Collie Eye Anomaly (CEA) - the mutated type that has no genetic test.  CEA affects the development of the optic nerve.   He has some vision in his right eye.  Most of his vision is in his left eye.  At first glance you would not know he was visually challenged.  He acts and plays like a normal puppy.  He was seen by two ophthalmologists at West Vet Specialty Care in Boise Idaho.  We are told that his vision will not degrade, nor will it improve with age.  At this age exactly what he sees is undetermined.  In 6 months from now he will need to be tested by an ophthalmologist to determine the true extent of his vision.

As a puppy - Mr. Red is adventurous and has a very inquisitive nature.  He loves to be cuddled and loves to play with his mom Maggie and his aunt Spirit.  He has a very even temperament and was originally selected to be a therapy dog.  He is pretty easy going as a puppy and runs and plays like any other of his litter mates.  His hearing and smell are certainly heightened as one would expect.

If you are interested in Mr. Red, we can certainly tell you more about him and provide the ophthalmologist report.

Adult Female  - Available

On rare occasions we have a retired
Show/Breeding dog that we look to rehome.
Near the end of January or early February we will be seeking
a new home for our girl Maggie.  She is know as:

CH Forest Cove's Ain't Misbahavin  BCAT (Maggie)

Maggie was born April 11, 2018.  She is currently 6+ years old.  Maggie has a lot of energy and a great nose.  We really believe that her name should have been Tigger as she has a lot of bounce.  She would excel at performance sports like Agility, Scent Work, CAT, Lure Coursing or Dock Diving.  Although she has been part of our breeding program and has resided with 4-5 other Tollers over the years, we feel that she would fix best in a home where she is the only dog.  She loves attention and is as sweet as can be.   If you are interested please give us a call or email and we can discuss her other qualities.

Thanks
