On rare occasions we have adult dogs available for rehoming

CH GCH Forest Cove's Beekauz I'm Made of Magic (Call Name- Presto)

It saddens us greatly to consider rehoming our 3.5 year old male but we know it is the right thing to do.  We are attempting to downsize our kennel over the next few years and retire from the dog breeding business.  We have to start somewhere.  A rehoming fee will apply. 

Presto has his Championship and Grand Championship Conformation Titles. He weights 45 pounds and measures 18.5" at the shoulders.  He was neutered in October of 2025.   Presto was part of our breeding program and sired 3 litters of exceptionally nice puppies in both structure and temperament.   There are 10 of the puppies in hunting homes. 

Presto is very biddable and always wants to please. He is obedient and very affectionate.  He likes to be a lap dog when given the chance.  He knows how to make himself small when cuddled up beside you on the recliner.  
He enjoys the game of retrieving.  His natural abilities shine when it comes to retrieving.   He loves to play fetch with our grandchildren.  With a bit more field training he will make an exceptional waterfowl or upland retrieving dog as he loves the game.  He would also excel in other venues such as tracking, or scent work as he has an exceptional nose.  He is easy to train and super smart when it comes to picking up new tasks. 

What we are looking for in a new home is where Presto would be:​

Puppy Plans for 2026

Our puppy plans for 2026 have changed.  Initially we were planning on two litters with our girls Grace and Spirit.  Grace jumped the gun and came into season earlier than expected.   We still need to complete a number of physical tests that cannot be accomplished until two years + of age.   

So, plans now are with our girl Spirit.   Sprit came into season on March 2 and will be bred this heat cycle.  The stud dog has not been determined as of this date.  We expect breeding will take place within the next two weeks -March 15 or later.
